Gotcha. I haven't played that one, but it looked to me to be better than the EA sports one. I have gotten to the point in my game that I am playing on 'legend' difficulty and made it even harder by getting rid of the strikezone and hitter aids and I am still something like 85-19 on the season so far. Guess thats what happens when you play almost 2 full seasons of a video game _________________ Go Twins!

There was one positive, for me, with MLB 2k6. When I bought the game brand new, on the day of release with my Game Stop preorder, it cost me $40. When I got home and opened up the package, there were two game discs pressed into the case! So, once I figured out that the game I placed all my hopes on ended up sucking it hard, I returned the game and got ~$18 in store credit. I then came back a week later with the other disc in a plain cd jewel case and got ~$17 for that one!
These prices are with the Game Stop member card I have (worth it alone just for the subscription price to Game Informer) which gives you 10% off used games and I think an extra 10% in credit when you trade in games. So, I still ended up being short ~$5 + tax on 2k6, but I was able to get a different (and much better) brand new game in it's place. That took away a good deal of my bitterness towards the game. If I hadn't had that second disc to trade in for additional credit, I'd probably still be quite steamed about the whole situation. |
2ksports lost my business this season with MLB 2K6. I played it a few days before I bought 06 The show. I had planned to pickup MLB 2k6, but after playing it, All i can say is IT SUCKS!!!! terrible game. I then Played a demo of MLB 06 The show, and LOVED IT!!! _________________

| When the PS3 goes down in price, it will still cost more than the 360. |

thats because the PS3s should be the best gaming console made
they have a patent on some new disc laser that allows the disks to hold twice as much data as DVDs(blu-ray or something) it wont b like XBOX360 where the graphics are great but the amount of gameplay is limited, PS3 should have equal if not better graphics and the maps on the games should cover a much wider area _________________

So, did you ever get that PS3? I'm still rocking with my old Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube... among other ancient consoles. _________________ Umm... go Twins!!! |
