Rules of Election into the hall of shame

When an umpire has a really shitty series, or has a consistancy of being biased or just making bad calls, we can now put him in the umpire hall of shame.

I gotta be honest, i took this from a different forum.

Rules of Election into the hall of shame

Postby autosave36autohit7 » Sat May 05, 2007 10:15 am

Process of election.
(This is not taken from that forum)

1. After game 2 of a series, an umpire may be nominated for election into the Umpire Hall of Shame by any poster on the board.
<<< It is encouraged for the person nominating to have seen the game>>>

2. Once a thread nominating a new member (stating exactly which umpire is in question) a vote will be conducted. A majority Vote shall be required for election.
Once that umpire is elected, there is a process for removal if he straightens his act.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. In the topic for that umpire, someone must nominate his removal due to good behavior/ umpiring.

2. A vote that will require 2/3 majority shall be taken.

3. If he is voted out of the Umpire hall of shame, it's like he was never elected in.

4. If he is voted to still be in the Umpire hall of shame, he has one more chance for removal before being a PERMANENT member, in which he will never be eligible for removal from the hall of shame.
